ITINERARY
1: CUSCO – CHINCHERO – MORAY – SALINERAS – URUBAMBA – OLLANTAYTAMBO – PISAC – CUSCO.
To start the tour to the Sacred Valley, we pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 AM in our tourist transport. We start visiting the picturesque town of Chinchero which is well known as a very important center of agricultural production, a town with many traditions, its archaeological site was one of the most important enclosures during the Inca period.
Then, we will drive to the town of Maras, where you will visit the archaeological site of Moray, this incredible Inca site consists of a series of circular terraces that resemble an amphitheater. where you will have a spectacular view of the snow-capped mountain of Veronica and lush vegetation. then we will go to the Salineras, is an impressive spectacle and a sample of the ancient engineering of the Incas in harmony with nature.
Then we head to the town of Urubamba is an excellent place to enjoy our buffet lunch. Afterwards we head to the town of Ollantaytambo, once we arrive to Ollantaytambo, we will visit the ruins where the temple of the sun stands out composed of six huge lithic blocks where there is still evidence of presentations such as felines and staggered symbols and in the lower part there are fountains to the cult of water.
After visiting Ollantaytambo, we will drive along the Urubamba River to the town of Pisac. once we arrive in Pisac, we will visit the ruins, a very important area of Inca construction. to finish the tour, we will visit the Pisac market, return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel.
